The brand offers a variety of products ranging from balms, bath soaks, and edibles, which help minimize menstrual cramps. However, Whoopi’s favorite is a vape pen, which she claims has helped her deal with headaches caused by her glaucoma diagnosis. She once wrote for Cannabist: “I took a sip. It was beautiful. And my pen and I have been together ever since.” She left Whoopi and Maya in 2020 before returning to the industry with the Emma and Clyde company the following year.
Seth Rogen - In an appearance on the talk show ‘Conan’ , the comedian and actor talked about his use of medical marijuana, although he did not reveal what he uses it for. Seth said: “I have a medical marijuana prescription, personally. I went in, they said, 'What do you need it for?' and I said, ‘I have a very specific ailment – it’s called, I ain’t got no weed on me right now.'”
Morgan Freeman - This actor is not only known for films like ‘The Shawshank Redemption’, but also for the quote he said in an interview with The Guardian newspaper in 2003: “Never give up the ganja.” In an interview with The Daily Beast, Morgan Freeman revealed that he has used marijuana to battle certain health issues and supported the substance being used for medical problems He said: "Marijuana has many useful uses. I have fibromyalgia pain in this arm, and the only thing that offers any relief is marijuana. They're talking about kids who have grand mal seizures, and they've discovered that marijuana eases that down to where these children can have a life.”
Oliver Stone - Film director Oliver Stone, known for movies like ‘Scarface’ and ‘Wall Street’, told CBS that using marijuana helped him stay calm during his time in the Army. He said: "When I was in Vietnam, weed made the difference between being human and being a beast. There were a lot of guys who were drinking and doing a lot of the killing that was so unnecessary. The guys who did dope were much more conscious of the value of life."
Melissa Etheridge - When the Grammy Award winner was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004, her longtime friend, the musician David Crosby, recommended her to try marijuana to overcome chemotherapy. Speaking to Yahoo for the ‘Weed and the American Family’ series, Melissa said: “I smoked to be normal. I smoked to be out of pain. I smoked to lighten myself because you’re poisoning yourself with chemo. It wasn’t about being high; it wasn’t at all anything like that. It was just being to a place where I could communicate with my children, to where I could get up, to where I could eat, where I didn’t have to go to the hospital. It was great medicine.”
Pete Davidson - Comedian Pete Davidson, Kim Kardashian’s current partner, told High Times in 2016 that he uses marijuana to battle his Crohn’s disease diagnosis. This has affected his gastrointestinal tract notably, and the medicines he has tried had only suppressed his appetite. He said: "Weed would be the only thing that would help me eat because my stomach would be in pain all day. I wouldn't be able to do 'SNL' if I didn't smoke weed."
Alessandra Ambrosio - Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio revealed that she often opts for cannabis-based products to sleep well. Speaking to Well + Good, the brunette beauty said: "It's hard because the mind gets anxious, so I try CBD oil and I think it helps.”
