The parents say they are proud of their professions, but they don’t want their children to be inundated with marijuana talk — or, worse, to be judged at school by adults and children who disapprove of their parents’ work.
Parents are going where scientists fear to tread to calm their children’s autism and epilepsy symptoms.
Few industries have been able to change their narratives as drastically as legal marijuana, and it has done so with the help of two sympathetic groups: Football players with a traumatic brain disease and sick children.
Parents who are even occasional weed users can face accusations of child neglect or abuse, and can risk losing their children as a result.
