It's a buzzy trend in the wellness world, and while CBD is one of the compounds found in the cannabis plant, don't worry — it won't get you high.

It's important to understand that while there are tons of CBD products on the market, the ingredient isn't currently approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

In fact, on Nov. 1 the FDA issued warning letters to four companies for unfounded claims that their CBD products can cure or treat cancer.
