New Jersey Gov. Christie legalizes pot for treating PTSD – Cannabis News
New Jersey residents suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder can be legally treated with marijuana under a law signed Wednesday by Governor Christie, the first expansion of the state’s medical marijuana program since it began six years ago.
Medical marijuana was legalized in New Jersey in 2010, just before Christie took office.
But it took nearly three years to launch the program under his administration, and Christie previously had resisted expansion, once calling it a “front for legalization.”
