Maine taps firm to track growth, distribution of marijuana - Cannabis News
Maine officials say the state has signed a three-year contract with a firm to track the growth and distribution of marijuana and marijuana products.
The Department of Administrative and Financial Services says the contract with Florida-based Franwell Inc. is valued at $150,000.
The department says the agreement means Maine will be able to use Metrc, a software product that uses radio-frequency identification tags to track marijuana.
