High art: Mass. business offers 'paint and puff' parties following marijuana legalization – Cannabis News
Bob Ross, meet Bob Marley. A new Western Mass. business, Blank Cannabis Productions, has begun offering "paint and puff" parties for customers, following the statewide legalization of recreational marijuana in December.
The parties are similar to paint-and-drink events that have spawned studios and franchises across the country since 2009.
Blank Cannabis Productions provides canvas, paints and pallets to groups of eight or more people for $35 per person, with owner Brian Haapanen leading participants through a recreation of one of his model paintings.
But marijuana's new status in Massachusetts - legal to possess, but still illegal to sell -- means there are some twists to the usual formula.
