What challenges are to come as the Great White North goes green and the U.S. Hemp Farming Act of 2018 allows its hemp farmers to compete?
Canada has officially legalized and regulated the production, sale, and adult-use of cannabis. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says this approach will “kneecap,” or cripple, black market sales, protect the public, and provide more comprehensive marijuana education overseen by one agency, Health Canada.
This decisive move means that Canada is now essentially leading the world, or at least G7 nations, on cannabis policy.
