Pennsylvania’s first sales of medical marijuana on Thursday proved to be as emotional as it was historic.
Two mothers were among the first customers at the Cresco Yeltrah dispensary in Butler, both to obtain cannabis oil to help treat their children’s seizures.
Diana Briggs of Export is the certified caregiver for her son Ryan, 17, who suffered a severe brain injury at birth, leaving him unable to walk or talk while suffering seizures throughout the day.
