A smattering of southwest Missouri entrepreneurs were among the more than 1,800 attendees who showed up for the state's first legal medical cannabis trade show, which drew consultants, grow-light purveyors and debt collection agencies based in Colorado and California and elsewhere.
Trish Bertrand, who has been active on medical marijuana issues for years and helped write Amendment 2, told the News-Leader late Monday that the biggest players in the rush to make money in Missouri's emerging legal marijuana industry are not necessarily ones who have identified themselves publicly.
