With the midterm elections on the horizon, it’s a good time to spotlight those who have taken the most notable positions on marijuana policy, both positive and negative.

There’s an old joke that goes something like this: “If ‘pro’ is the opposite of ‘con,’ then what’s the opposite of ‘progress?’” Of course, the answer is Congress!

It’s an institution that Americans love to hate, with its approval rating (currently at 17%) famously being lower than approval for traffic jams or Nickelback.
