Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) thinks that the federal government should keep its hands off the increasing number of states legalizing cannabis.
Warren spoke to Jen Rogers on the Final Round to talk about her support for a bipartisan bill that would restrict federal agencies from interfering with individuals and businesses acting in compliance with state marijuana laws.
Under the proposal, “federal law can stay in place, but if a state has acted and the state has decided to legalize, then the federal government should just back off,” Warren said.
