INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Nearly three quarters of respondents to a new statewide survey think Indiana should legalize medical marijuana.
The WTHR/HPI Indiana Poll has 73% supporting medical marijuana with 25% opposed and only 2% undecided or refusing to answer the poll question.
Democrats were most likely to support the measure with 82% support followed by independents with 77% support and republicans with 59%.
Hoosiers older than 65 had the lowest level of support but still favored legalization 57% to 41%.
