AUGUSTA, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The campaign to regulate marijuana-like-alcohol in Maine will submit petition signatures later Monday.
The Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol supports a 2016 statewide ballot initiative to end marijuana prohibition in Maine.
The referendum effort would treat marijuana like we do alcohol and would be taxed, with the money going to the state.
There would be specific locations where marijuana could be purchased, and only people 21 and up could buy it.
