Kentucky: $30 million hemp facility to break ground in Carlisle County - Cannabis News

A California company has announced it will break ground next week on a planned $30 million hemp processing plant in Carlisle County, potentially creating 100 jobs.

Keith Taylor, chief operating officer for Kings Royal Biotech, of Capistrano Beach, reported the groundbreaking will be March 15.

The event was scheduled after the Kentucky Department of Agriculture approved permits for growing and processing hemp into the pharmaceutical grade CBD isolate.
