Tree of Knowledge International Corp. announced last week it had entered into a distribution agreement with Dr. Sanjay Gupta for a line of hemp-based products bearing his name.
Sanjay Gupta is an American neurosurgeon and multiple Emmy Award-winning medical reporter.
Up until 5 years ago, he had been examining (limited) scientific literature on medical marijuana and found it to be “fairly unimpressive”.
Becoming aware of many of the myths surrounding cannabis, his road to Damascus moment was in 2013 when Dr. Gupta was involved with the CNN documentary Weed and realised it had very legitimate medical applications.
